TESSERA embeddings download API
How it is run today: Published data layer (not weights we run)
TESSERA is a temporal Earth-observation foundation model from Cambridge. The useful product for most buyers is not “POST a new image, get an embedding.” It is precomputed annual ~10 m, 128-D embeddings from Sentinel-1/2 time series, used for land classification, canopy-height-style tasks, and similar work.
GeoTessera is the client: CLI and API to download or stream those tiles. Pass-through of the published embeddings via GeoTessera / Source Cooperative HTTPS (and Zarr) is realistic today for AOI + year queries. Running the foundation model yourself on arbitrary new imagery is a separate host-weights problem. GPU class for that self-host path is unknown.
For the embeddings product, no GPU is required for tile fetch — commodity CPU plus storage and bandwidth. The customer supplies a bbox and year, and a dataset version or variant. Embeddings from different versions are not interchangeable.
Project materials describe an open release. Treat commercial use of the published embeddings as OK per project docs, but confirm the exact weight and embedding license text in the repo LICENSE before selling. Do not assume we already host this. We would proxy the published layers; we would not be running TESSERA weights unless that is a separate job.

If this is the job you need, say so. We will not claim we already host it. We will say whether we pass through, stand it up, or cannot do it honestly.
